After finishing the Course with the 20 participants and after the Ceremony of the Diploma Course, it was time to evaluate.
On June 19, 2019, an evaluation session of the Course “Let's Prevent Bullying!” was held. In this session, we used a participatory methodology that allowed an individual assessment and a group assessment, regarding the most positive aspects of the Course, the points that needed to be improved and also, suggestions for the future.
From this evaluation session, the following were the main suggestions for the future:
1) Signing a collaboration protocol between APPACDM LISBOA and ISCTE-IUL, to support the continuity and sustainability of the DisAbuse project in Portugal - in August, the protocol was validated by both entities.
2) Implementation of a pilot project of the Course “Let's Prevent Bullying!” in the school context, in the school year 2019/2020 - in September, the Action accreditation process for teachers and psychologists began.
3) Review of materials used during the course and their suitability for different contexts of implementation of the course “Let's Prevent Bullying!”
4) The dissemination of the process and results of the implementation of the six modules of the Course “Let's Prevent Bullying!” in Portugal.
In order to operationalise all the points discussed in the Evaluation session, on July 24, a new session was held, with all Trainers involved in the Course “Let's Prevent Bullying!” In this session, the School Cluster was selected, for the implementation of the pilot project of the Course (see point 2 above); all Course materials were discussed and validated (see previous point 3), as well as, a poster proposal was submitted to the Meeting of Psychologists of the Southern Regional Directorate (see previous point 4). The poster has already been approved and this event will be held next September 27th.
